Aviatrissa
The club of women aviators
"Aviatrissa" which includes famous aviatrixes from Russia and Former Soviet
Republics (now independent states) with great enthusiasm greet the intentions of the
American pilots Nikki Mitchell and Rhonda Miles as they retrace the route of the Russian
plan "Rodina" (Motherland), in July 1998, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of
the flight by the Russian aviatrixes Valentina Grizodubova, Paulina Ossipenk and Marina
Rasova.
We are ready to render any
possible assistance and participation with this flight. We ask everybody who can promote
this important initiative and support financially these American women aviators.
We are sure this joint event
will be of great importance for further mutual understanding and strengthening friendships
between the peoples of our countries.
