The "Bridge of Wings" Pilots
Khalide Makagonova, Nikki Mitchell, Rhonda Miles, and
Natalia (Natassia) Vinokourova
On April 3, 1998 Nikki and Rhonda departed
Nashville for Moscow, Russia. One of their intentions for this trip was to meet the
Russian women pilots. On April 9 the "Bridge of Wings" pilots met for the
first time. Upon meeting, immediate friendships were established.. Khalide
Makagonova (left) is the 1984 World Aerobatic Champion. Natalia Vinokourova (right)
is a Pilot in a Tupelov 154 for Magadan Air.
